Hello Seniors and Senior Parents,
Please read the information below regarding Williston State College. In order to qualify for WSC scholarships, you MUST COMPLETE THE FAFSA.
WSC will host meetings every third Thursday of the month (March will be on the 27th). You may attend these sessions virtually or at the college. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Williston State College will host monthly financial aid question and answer sessions to assist students and families in understanding the Free Application for Federal Student AID (FAFSA) and other financial aid opportunities available. These sessions will take place on the third Thursday of each month (except for March will be on the 27th) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Teton Lounge, located in Stevens Hall at Williston State College (1410 University Avenue, Williston). Virtual options are available.
LIST OF ALL DATES: 2/20, 3/27, 4/17, 5/15, 6/19, 7/17, 8/21, & 9/18The 2025-26 FAFSA is essential for students applying for scholarships such as the Tuition and Fees Scholarship, Homesteader Scholarship, Return2College Scholarship, and MonDak Scholarship, all of which have a Sept. 30, 2025, deadline.
Completing the FAFSA can also determine eligibility for the Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study, ND State Grant, and various WSC internal scholarships.
The U.S. Department of Education has simplified the FAFSA by reducing the number of questions and making it easier to input tax information. Students and parents now need only to provide consent, and tax information will transfer directly to the application. Additionally, parents without a Social Security number can now create an FSA ID, making the process more inclusive. Book Fair Feburary 3-7, students may shop before school from 8-8:30 and students and familes may shop after school from 3:30-4:30. Open during Parent/Teacher Conferences Wednesday, February 5th, from 1:00 -7:30.
