Friday Volleyball Game Theme

Junior High Volleyball photos will be Thursday, August 31, 2023 after school in Grenora.

Grenora School annuals will be available tomorrow! We did cut down on how many we ordered so be sure you get yours right away! The yearbook has material and images for all grades K-12. All students really enjoy looking at these books. Pick them up at the office or from Mrs. Paine for $30.

The After-School Program for grades 7-12 will be starting on Monday, August 28th, from 3:30 - 4:30. Students are welcome to come in and work on homework or get assistance on assignments. Please contact Mrs. Quimby with any questions.

There will be an FBLA meeting for all current members as well as students in grades 8-12 interested in joining a leadership group that is very active in the community. Meet in Mrs Paine's classroom Wednesday, Aug 23 immediately after school. Mrs Lampert and Mrs Paine look forward to seeing you! The meeting will be over by 4:15-4:30.

The Varsity Volleyball team will be in a Kickoff Tournament in Sidney on Saturday August 26th. First game will be at 9:15 MST at the Sidney High School.

A reminder that grades 6-8 volleyball begins after school today!! Practice will run from 3:45-5:15 today and tomorrow from 2:45-4:15 with a parent meeting on Friday at 4:30. All practices will be in Grenora at this time. Saturday, I plan to have a morning practice at 9:00 a.m. as our first game is already on August 25. A physical form must be turned in to practice. Open House today from 3-5! Come in, visit with teachers, drop off supplies, and make sure to stop by the office to purchase your activity tickets, and pay for meals! (all forms of payment are accepted)

7-12 After School Program will start August 28th, from 3:30 to 4:30 in the English room. This is a quiet place for kids to get help with assignments if late, or work on finishing coursework. Drinks and snacks allowed within moderation. Kids are welcome to come right in on their own, or parents/guardians may schedule days with me. We look forward to seeing the kids on Wednesday!

Hello parents and students! If you are still looking for school supplies, I have quite a few binders and notebooks, some comp books that are still in good shape to use if you don't mind using second-hand. With the cost of school supplies, this is a way to reduce and reuse. I'll have them put on a table outside of my classroom. Please feel free to take what you need.
