The new DOT Driver License Manual Class D 2023-2025 are now available here at the school. If your student will be taking the DE course this summer starting in May, they can stop by the English room to pick up a copy to begin studying. The sign-up sheet will go into the office in Jan/Feb.
Did you miss grabbing your 2022-23 Grenora yearbook? ($30) We are down to 15 copies, once they are gone, they are GONE! We also have a few copies of previous years, ($20-25) ~ contact me if you're looking for a particular year or two.

Junior High Volleyball Meeting
All players need to bring both uniforms (washed) to a meeting immediately after school in Mrs. Paine's room on Thursday, October 12. If you have a conflict, let her know. You will be done well before basketball practice that day.
The JV and Varsity volleyball games tonight are going to be played @ Medicine Lake.
K-2 Flag Football tournament starts this week. The first game is Wednesday. Game time will be communicated when we know. Practice Tuesday after school.
Tonight (10/6) the Pep Band Bus will be leaving @ 6 pm CST from Grenora for the VB game in Westby.
K-2 Flag Football game Saturday, Oct. 7th @ 9 am CST at Western Star.
JH Basketball for both boys and girls will begin on Thursday October 12th. Both practices will be in Grenora that day. A letter will be sent out with coaches information soon.

Reminder: We will have a 10:00 a.m. Late Start on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 for Teacher Professional Development. Busses will run at normal times and Breakfast will be served too. These students will be split into groups and work on different activities with teacher aides until school starts at 10:00. Non-Bus students or students who parents want to bring them to school can come by 10:00. Pre-School will run normal hours on this day.
5th & 6th Grade Football game is still on schedule for this evening (10/3) @ 6:30 - Also this evening your local 4H group is serving a hamburger meal at the Senior Center starting at 6:00pm

Music Boosters: Who is it composed of and what is the money raised for? All family's whose child/children participate in 5-12 music are asked to participate and raise funds. The booster’s purpose is to support all students in the program through, instrument purchases/rentals, camps, Missoula Children's Theater, band day, scholarships and trips. Throughout the year we will ask families to help with fundraisers such as serving of bars after concerts for free will donation and to sell 50/50 tickets at varsity games. Someone will reach out to you and/or a sign-up sheet will be sent to different groups of families as the concerts near. The annual organizational meeting for the group will be September 28th @ 7:00pm in the Grenora School Library. Your support is needed and your ideas are welcome to ensure the quality of the Music program continues.
